Story synopsis.... A frightening, supernatural tale, set in New England, in 1900. A vengeful, haunted spirit, haunts a disturbed young man. A terrifying skull, which belonged to the former owner, of the house, now rests, eerily, upon the hearth by the fireplace-now, a cursed spirit. Legend has it, it must never be removed. The new owner, tries, in vain, to destroy it... time after time. Its diabolical presence, drives the man, ever so slowly, into madness. He is visited, by more ghosts, one good and one evil. He continues to be haunted, by the skull...the skull, which came from hell! Viktor has recorded, and performed my story, "The Skull Upon the Hearth" with such excellence. He speaks the chilling, haunted words, of Maverick, in such a fashion, you will believe, beyond doubt, that he IS the tragic Maverick. His performance, is definitely worth of an Emmy. I was in awe, as I heard him read the story. He will terrify you, and if you do not believe in ghosts... you WILL believe, by the conclusion.
