The
Incredible Melting Man
(1977) - Astronaut exposed to cosmic rays outside of Saturn's rings
returns to Earth and begins to melt away. Escaping from the hospital, he
wanders around the backwoods looking for
human flesh to eat. 84 minutes
The
Incredible Shrinking Man (1957 B/W) - The original classic movie. Fantastic
quality!
VERY HARD TO FIND TV MOVIE
The Initiation of Sarah (1978 TV Movie) It's sort
of Carrie goes to College! Very cool movie! Kay Lenz, Morgan Brittany, Morgan
Fairchild, Robert Hays & Shelly Winters! 100 minutes
The Invaders
(1995) Scott Bakula stars in the TV Miniseries based on the original 60's series.
180 minutes
The Invisible Boy (1957 B/W) - A young boy,
the son of a scientist, is used by a super-intelligent computer to do its
bidding. After reconstructing Robbie the Robot (see note), he is made invisible
and then gets involved in a super-secret rocket project! [NOTE: Although this
movie takes place in the 50's, it is a sequel to Forbidden Planet. A scientist
mentioned in the movie created a time machine and stole Robbie from the future,
AND he has pictures to prove it!]
The
Invisible Man (1975) - TV Pilot Movie - David
McCallum stars as Dr. Daniel Westin, a brilliant scientist working for an American think-tank who discovered a method to turn objects invisible. Not
wanting his notes to fall into the wrong hands (including those of the U.S. Government), he destroyed all evidence of his discovery, and turned himself invisible to test it.
Unfortunately, he didn't know how to turn himself visible again, so he wore a
(extremely realistic) mask in public while searching for a cure.
Island
of Lost Souls
(1933 B/W) - An obsessed scientist conducts profane experiments in
evolution, eventually establishing himself as the self-styled demigod to a race
of mutated, half-human abominations.
Despite the more graphic fright movies of recent vintage--including at least
two remakes of this title--this film retains
its ability to horrify even the most discriminating of fans,
and remains possibly the greatest and most shattering monster movie ever made,
with perhaps the finest career performance from an almost-unrecognizable Bela
Lugosi.
Jaws of Satan (1981)
AKA "King Cobra" -
A preacher (Fritz Weaver) whose ancestors were Druids battles Satan, who has taken the form of a huge snake.
Note: You will see a very
young Christina Applegate (Kelly Bundy from “Married with Children”) in this
movie! 92 minutes
